The Intorciata is a procession in which a statue of the Madonna from the Church of Cristo Re, in the coast of Leuca, reaches the Basilica of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae where the prayer vigil is held in preparation for the Feast of the Assumption. The parade consists of hundreds of faithful following with torches illuminating the statue of the Virgin during its passage in the streets of the town.
